Short description
Recipient
The recipient is made of stainless steel (1.4301). The recipient with bottom board and swivelling cover is designed double-walled and water-cooled. On the recipient all connection flanges for vacuum pump (DN 100), current connections, vacuum measuring tubes, gas in- and outlet, thermocouple, control – and safety pyrometer are placed.
The complete recipient with the lead throughs and bottles is welded gas- and vacuum tightly and connected with the corresponding sealing rings respectively. On the recipient a flange with a blowout disc as additional safety element is installed. Due to the water cooling an out wall temperature of 50°C above room temperature is not exceeded.
The recipient cover is connected with a lifting cylinder and a swivelling mechanism so that for charging the same can be lifted and swivelled away. The cover is designed as explosion clap (opening pressure approx. 150 mbar) and provided with rotary fastenings (spring pressure force). The sealing is effected over a Viton-O-Ring. The charging of the furnace chamber is done from the top.
Heating
In the tightly mounted part of the recipient a complete radiation protective screen made of Tungsten and Molybdenum, vertically arranged, is installed.
The Tungsten heater in the centre of the radiation protection screens is connected with its connections to the vacuum tight current connections and is carried by them. The radiation protection screens are supported by the recipient bottom.
The concentric construction of the protective screen is provided with all necessary borings for the pyrometer and the thermocouple.
The pre-described assembly guarantees an easy handling during set up and maintenance with exchange of the construction elements.
