The capacity of sedimentation tank is limited by its surface loading and the inclined tube settler is designed toovercome this critical limitation. The inclined tube settler can be used in either new plant or existent sedimentation tank.
Structure
A. The inclined tube settler is made of ABS or PVC.
B. Simply installed the individual module in sedimentation tank and function well.
C. The tube is formed at 60 degree angle versus horizontal and in reverse direction to neighboring tubes in forming crisscross configuration in modules.
The assembled module is rectangular and opening is 50mm.

The precipitation distance of particles in inclined tube settler is shortened to be h,compared to precipitation distance in empty tank H,(Dw.2)
H/h times of sedimentation tank surface area was saved.
A.The precipitation velocity of fine particles is smaller than the upward velocity of water (VP
B. Inside the tube settler, the combined vector carried the particles to the wall of settler. (Refer to Dw.B)
C. Due to the secondary flocculation effect inside settler, the fine particles become large particles and the precipitation velocity become
larger than upward velocity then cause the precipitation of particles.
