This range of furnaces has a maximum operating temperature of 1700°C. Standard design is in the horizontal format but vertical models can be supplied. Furnace shown has optional work tube fitted.
Heating is via vertically suspended molybdenum disilicide elements which allow continuous use at maximum temperature.
High grade insulation materials used throughout for rapid response rates and maximum thermal efficiency and stability. Unique double skin case construction uses natural air convection to maintain a cool outer case.
Insulating end plugs which minimize heat loss and thermal gradients, and gas tight end fittings for work in controlled atmospheres are available as optional extras.
