LV Oil Immersed Transformers Specification
- Scope of application
This specification applies to the design, supply, installation and testing of oil-immersed transformers and accessories. - According to standards and regulations
The design, manufacture and test of the transformer must comply with the relevant sections of the latest edition of the standards and regulations listed below.
National Standards of the Republic of China (CNS 598, CNS 599, C4010、C3003)
American National Standard (ANSI / IEEE C57.12) - Applicable environment
The normal use of the transformer is as follows:
a. The maximum ambient temperature is below 40 ℃
b. The average daily temperature is below 35 ℃
c. Below 1000 meters above sea level - Type

a.Silicon steel sheet manufactured by cold rolling directivity, low loss and high magnetic permeability. The laminated core has sufficient insulation layer to resist the erosion effect of hot oil.
b.The iron core is assembled carefully and tightly, and has sufficient mechanical strength to prevent the core from loosening when the winding is being handled or operated. - Winding
a.The coil insulation is Type A, and after vacuum drying, it has a surge protection design and a heat dissipation oil channel.
b. As the coil conductor material, a copper conductor is used. - Moisture-proof
The connection between the transformer top cover and the tank is fastened with screws, and the hand holes and bushings are made of high-quality moisture-proof and oil-resistant gaskets, so that the tank of the transformer is indeed moisture-proof. - Scope of application
According to the size of the transformer and the actual needs of the transformer, the manufacturer provides appropriate accessories, such as thermometers, oil level meters, etc. The types and specifications of the accessories must comply with the requirements of CNS 598. If customers have other requirements for accessories, It is agreed between the buyer and the seller. - Nameplate
The marking content shall comply with the requirements of CNS 598, and its material shall be made of stainless steel.

The transformers shell must be rust-proof and applied with phosphate film or sandblasting rust-proof treatment. The inner layer is coated with durable oil-based rust-resistant insulating white paint, and the outer layer is weather-resistant rust-proof paint. The outermost color is Taiwan Paint Association Color Card # 41 or designated by the customer. - Transformers oil
The transformers must be filled with a normal amount of insulating oil. The quality of the insulating oil should meet the requirements of CNS 1326. - Test items in the transformers plant:
Before leaving the transformers, the following in-plant tests must be performed and a test report submitted.
1. Turn ratio and phase sequence test (within 0.5%)
2. Measurement of winding resistance
3. No-load loss and exciting current test
4. Full load loss and impedance test
5. Voltage regulation and efficiency test
