- Characters: Cr / Ni / Mo are base elements of 316 / CF8M ingot. Manufacturing is extended to low carbon grade 316L / CF3M or various content of elements customers require.
- 316 stainless steel is widely used in chemical and nuclear industries.
- Good corrosion resistance to prevent pitting and good endurance of acid penetration result in this alloy very wide applications.
- Low carbon grade is a good material for welding. Less carbon content usually has less possibility to produce carbide and cause chromium depletion on grain boundary during weld is cooling from high temperature.
