MMCX STRAIGHT JACK EDGE CARD MOUNT
MMCX (miniature coaxial) connectors are coaxial RF connectors similar to MCXs, but smaller. They comply with the European CECC 22000 specification. MMCX connectors are rated for 500 mating cycles.
The connector has a locking spring mechanism that allows 360 degree rotation and typically has a 50 ohm impedance. They provide broadband capabilities from DC to 6 GHz.
MMCX connectors are most commonly found on Wi-Fi PCMCIA cards as antenna connectors, or as connectors for external GPS antennas on small devices such as PDAs or GPS receivers. They are also used by various brands of in-ear monitors to connect cables to individual headphones. This allows cables to be replaced or swapped.
