Furthermore, monoaxial stretching makes MOPP greatly resistant
to tearing in the transverse direction. Its important to note that the foam MOPP is entirely moisture-free and resistant to all materials used in the cable industry. 

The foamed polypropylene films are based on a closed-cell fine-pore structure, they are ideal for use as a division film between conductor segments and the Al-Copolymer coverings. Therefore, they are well suited for telecommunication cables and for voltage cables from 1 to 30 kV.
