Metal-detectable earplugs are one of the easiest ways to help ensure that this type of non-food object is found before the food leaves the production facility.
Features:
EP-35D metal detectable earplugs contain a small metal bead located in the earplug. They are designed to protect the ear from noise disturbances while also being sensed by metal detectors when the earplugs are dropped down the production line to avoid foreign objects being loaded into the product. With an enlarged diameter size, EP-35D provides a more compliant effect for wearers with larger ear canals, creates a tight seal, blocking out most external noise and preventing sound from entering the ear. They are available for plastic cords that contain metal particles and non-metal particles options and are conveniently packaged in individual polybags to keep each pair clean. It also helps when the cord attached to the metal-detectable earplugs is brightly colored because it makes visual inspection for contaminants in the food easier. The color should be one that is a contrasting color to most food products.
