＜Nickel Based Self-fluxing Coating＞
The flame (or combustion) powder spray process has a similar principle as the flame wire spray process, except that the feedstock is wire rather than powder. It's not easy or not possible to produce some alloys in a wire form. So, the advantage of flame powder spray process is that a wider range of materials can be easily processed into powder form and gives more choices of coatings. The powder form materials include nickel or cobalt based self-fuxing alloys or ceramic materials.
Nickel-based self-fluxing alloy powders is Ni-based alloy added by B, Si elements to form the eutectic alloy with low melting point. During the melting process, the composition carried out the feature of self-deoxidization, self-slag and good wetting ability. After spraying or fusion, the substrate with this coating will have higher hardness, better metallurgical bonding and oxygenation resistance.
Nickel based self-fluxing alloy has different properties when adding different compositions and can be used in all kinds of molding die, glass mold and some cast iron parts, includes valve and die for glass, cylinder, and guide. In addition, the typical uses also consist of corrosion-resistant parts, such as die for glass, axle and cold die.
