Medical Image Management System
Microtek’s medical film and image management system is an integrated solution exclusively designed for digitizing and managing X-ray films used in the medical industry. Combined with a medical digitizer (e.g. Medi-6000/Medi-7000) and image management software (MiPAX-Xray), the system can directly convert traditional X-ray films into digital images in the DICOM 3.0 standard, meeting with the requirements of medical film digitizing and PACS management. It can not only work as an independent workstation in a small clinic but also be a gateway of PACS in a big hospital.
By the help of superior grayscale resolutions and optical density, the system can capture every detail and grayscale level displayed in images; thus, the captured images can be identified in details easily. With a great scanning area up to 14” x 35”, it can almost deal with all kinds of medical X-ray films. The dedicated MiPAX-Xray management software combines patients’ films with data together and then saves them in the DICOM 3.0 standard. Later, the integrated information can be easily and fast archived, searched, checked, managed and shared among each other.
