Product Description

ELAN-MY 2001CW Air dry varnish is solvented, alkyd resin based, air-drying varnish with good tank stability and anti-tracking qualities.
ELAN-MY 2001CW gives a bright surface finish, excellent protection aganinst leakage currents and is particularly useful for protecting ametal surfaces against oxidation. ELAN-MY 2001CW is ideal for coating insulation board and mouldings where a good antitracking finish is required and can also be ued for the conformal oating of printed circuit boards.
ELAN-MY 2001CW is compatible with most other materials in insulation systems, has good chemical and water resistance.

Processing

ELAN-MY 2001CW is mainly suitable for impregnating components at ambient temperatures. Coated components can, However, be forced dried at elevated temperatures up to a maximum of 80℃.

Cure cycle

30℃: 4 hours

80℃: 20-30 minute

Application of ELAN-MY 2001CW can be by dip, flood, pray or brush.
It is essential to ensure that tanks and containers of ELAN-MY 2001CW remain sealed or well-covered to minimise solvent loss and retain storage stability.
The viscosity of ELAN-MY 2001CW should be monitored regularly with reference to viscosity – temperature graphical representations which are available upon request.
