Tarng Cherng Limited was established in 1987 in Taiwan, initially using the conventional production machinery for hydraulic tube fittings and fire fighting components and equipment. In 1993, a new factory was registered and set up in a beautiful environment of Taichung City, Wufeng, coinciding with domestic Taiwan National Military Policy promoting own weapon development program, TarngCherng enhances its higher-end manufacturing capabilities introducing a number of advanced CNC, milling centers and lathes, participating in the Department of Defense weapon development projects and jointly certified by the Department of Defense, Bureau of Fire Arms, and Department of Military Supply Logistics to be qualified military supplier, a total of projects awarded to be over 200 at peak. Tarng Cherng Limited participates in the military part development, developing mechanical components, materials properties, their processing, surface heat treatment, and various advanced heat treatment specifications, SOP, SIP, etc., has accumulated considerable experience, cultivating a group of professionals, forming an unique industrial logistic chain of resources and qualified supplier system. In addition to own advance manufacturing ability, assembling and system integration, Tarng Cherng organizes and integrates various co-operative factories providing customers an integrated solution of mechanical processing services, reducing part procurement cost and complex OEM procedures. In 2005 Tarng Cherng has set up a second plant at close proximity town of Dali in Taichung City, and invested a considerable amount in testing equipment, improving quality control capability, importing few tens of key CNC centers and modernizing scale of factory production and advancing OEM ability for precision machining. In 2001, Tarng Cherng has obtained ISO 9001 certification, currently, two factories occupying a total area of 5200 m2, the number of employees reached to about 50, nearly 20 professional engineers and technical personnel. Tarng Cherng is now specialized in producing: precision machinery, food processing machinery, automotive components and transmission parts, exporting to Japan, Canada, the United States, Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, various Southeast Asia regions, etc. and actively expanding to different marketing positions.
