Phytosporin^® is biological fungicide consisting of highly active spores of endophyte bacterium Bacillus subtilis (isolate 26D, 2*10⁹ spore per gram), which has specific antagonistic action against the plant fungus and bacterial causative agents. The bacterium action connected with its products: polypeptide and aminoglucose antibiotics; the first one suppresses growth of funguses, the other has bactericidal properties. Since Phytosporin^® is a microbiological agent of high activity which attacks the plant pathogens, there are no adverse effects on the ecosystem in general. In addition there are no toxic or allergic effects on human, animals, fish and insects.

Phytosporin^® is intended for the use as part of an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) system.

Application

Phytosporin^® reduced / controlled  diseases of agricultural crops and vegetables in the greenhouse and in the open field.

Phytosporin^® is BIOFUNGICIDE for the post-harvest treatment of fruits and vegetables destined for conservation storage. Prevent attacks from Penicillium, Diplodia, Phomopsis, Alternaria, Botrytis, Rhizopus.

The application method is to apply and incorporate the agent in order to allow Phytosporin^® to destroy the disease causing of fungus or bacteria in the plant. 

Phytosporin^® is applied by pre-sowing treatment of seed (or seed piece), spraying plants,

post-harvest treatment tubers, root-crops, vegetables and fruits.

Phytosporin^® provides long-term protection.

Environmental Toxicology: Owing to the biological mode of operation, there are no adverse effects on environment in general.

Minimum waiting periods: There is no risk of toxic effect, thus there is no recommended waiting period.

Storage: Store in dry place at -20 ^oC  to  +40 ^oC out of direct sunlight and away heat source. Keep out of reach of children and animals. Store in original package only. Has a shelf-life of at least 24 months.
