We use the fog machine, the main purpose is to be used in cooling demand.
How does the fog machine create micro-mist, achieve the cooling demand, how does it produce the
cooling-down effect?
Evaporate the water must be supplied heat (energy), known as the heat of vaporization. Evaporation
of one gallon of water about 8,700 BTU heat (or 8,540 kJ). Where is the heat from? Such heat from
the water itself or an object in contact with water. When the water evaporates, objects in contact with
water as air, heat the sidewalks, buildings, human body or the body of livestock, flowers, trees or the
air itself. After providing evaporative heat to water molecules, these providers will lose heat, its temperature
will be reduced.
The cooling effect of water temperature generated on the air is very little. Assume that the pavement
surface temperature is 32 ℃. Sprinkled one gallon of 10 ℃ water on the ground, it can produce 8,700
BTU cooling effect. There is only three percent of the difference between these two conditions.
How the fog machines use the evaporative cooling method? Fog machines used high water pressure,
created a large number of micro-mist molecules. Water molecules evaporated into the air directly. The
droplets is floating in the air. It provided the heat of vaporization from the air, and removed the heat
of the air during droplets evaporating, thereby, reduced the air temperature.
Purports to maximize the effectiveness of evaporative cooling system. First, as much as possible so that
the maximum amount of air can touch the moisture provided. Therefore, the fog particles is as small as
