Type: Hejaz is the main type in export. Thanks to the special structure of its rind, pomegranate can be stored from 4 to 6 months under various conditions.
Properties: The pomegranate is round with a very tough skin; the ripe fruit is of orange-red in colour and contains multiple kerns with a sweet to sweet-tart flavour.
Calibration: 6-8-9-12-14 sizes are available.
Supply Period: November-December. Stored fruits are put on market until February and may be exported.
