External shock absorbing lanyard is used as a component in a Personal Fall Protection Systems where a combination of worker mobility and fall protection is required.

Why do I need energy absorbing lanyard?
  • Fall arrest lanyards could reduce the impact of a fall via a shock-absorber within the system. These lanyards come in lengths up to a maximum of 1.8 m. They should only be used with sufficient height clearance.

Application：
  • A full body harness must be worn when this equipment is used as a component of a personal fall protection systems.
