Features
This product can make shining surfaces and is soft, waterproof and greaseproof. The product is suitable for doming either on the flat or curved surfaces of all kinds of metals, glass or plastics. The product can provide good protection, anti-abrasion and increase the impact resistance. After cured, the resin has UV durability, making it ideal for outdoor usage and is excellent weathering resistant.
Handling and Storage
Metal, glass or plastic containers are preferable for mixture. Using wooden stirrers or paper cups may introduce moisture into the system and will cause property changes or bubbles.
To ensure a better appearance, after mixing the two components thoroughly, vacuum or degassing is recommended before potting the materials.
To avoid the affection of moisture during handling, it is recommended to shorten the work time. Air conditioner or dehumidifier is also recommended to use at workplace to reduce ambient moisture.
※UP-5440 AB are highly sensitive to moisture. After the products are opened, use them up ASAP or flush the containers with dry nitrogen before resealed to avoid moisture and to extend the shelf life. The products should be stored at 25°C in tightly closed containers.
