Overview
ACI 701, c.LINK Access Network Controller is an up-to-date broadband access solution for the last mile access over the existing coaxial cabling. It leverages the existing coaxial cable infrastructure, enabling an easy, cost effective system for service provides to bring high speed data and video networking services to residents within MDUs (Multiple Dwelling Units). No new wires and no changes are required to adopt the ACI 701 to existing wiring. It allows you to cascade multiple network controllers to expand unit coverage and coexist with cable, terrestrial, and satellite signals.
Features
Support up to 1/2 channels 31/62 client nodes on a single coax
Bandwidth management
System upstream and downstream rate control
Client node data rate limits and guarantees
Priority support via 802.1D
Network security, hardware DES encryption for network privacy, and network coordination access control of the client nodes
Backwards compatibility, all access 2.0+ client nodes have the connectivity with any access 2.0 network controller
Coexistence with all broadband services and c.LINK networks (MoCA)
Easily installed into the existing coax plant wiring, support extended distance up to 600m
Indoor and outdoor support, hardware compliance with commercial and industrial standards
