Aluminum alloys offer better corrosion protection and longer service life than pure aluminum. Some of the alloyed elements provide enhanced protection from atmospheres and some offer harder alternatives to pure aluminum. Harder alloys are especially suitable for machine parts restoration. Even though there’re lots of metal alloys for us to choose, selection should be determined by the specific environment of application requirements.

The coatings is suitable for repairing and restoration for aluminum castings, gearbox seals, flanges and Al-Mg based components. Another applications of Al-Si corrosion protective coating are seawater and alkaline environment such as offshore oil rigs, flue-gas towers and pipeline. The coating provides durable non-slip surface when sprayed with a rough surface texture. The typical applications include stairs and decks on offshore oil platforms, ships, bridges, loading platforms, truck tailgates… etc.
