ED 5100: 1RU CATV Booster EDFA.
RS232 and JR45 offer serial commutation and SNMP network port. The LCD of front panel offers the work index of all equipment and warning alarm. Optical lose, laser closes automatically, provide the safe protect of laser. All the optical port can be set in the front panel, or can choose set in the back panel.
The ACI ED 5100, is working in single wavelength in CATV system, it don’t have any request in the gain flatness. In order to avoid distortion, the operation wavelength of External Modulation optical transmitter is usually 1548~1563nm. The main technical request of EDFA in CATV system is low noise figure, large saturation output power. ACI ED 5100 CATV Booster EDFA can be applicable in the group center, substation and trunk circuit, which are one of the amplifiers used most widely in the CATV system.
