PolyM Technology Corporation (“PolyM”) is a company dedicated in the researching, developing and manufacturing some innovated conductive polymer materials. Our core technology is developed basing on the inventions of the chief technology officer (CTO), Prof. Chien-Chung Han, the principal inventor of over 60 patents on conducting polymers. Dr. Han earned his PhD degree from Columbia University in the United States, continued his post-doctoral research at the University of Massachusetts (USA) in the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering, and then joined the Polymer Science Laboratory, Corporate Research Center of Allied-Signal Inc. (Morristown, New Jersey, USA) to do research in the field of conducting polymers, where he helped to successfully commercialize the first conducting polymerVersiconTM and also invented a series of novel solution processing chemistry to enable all types of conducting polymers to be processable as a true solution or a polymer dispersion.
Dr. Han returned to Taiwan in 1993 and became a faculty member of the Department of Chemistry at National Tsing Hua University to continue his research in conducting polymers till now. Recently, he had been encouraged and assisted by Tsing Hua University Sprout Center to establish PolyM to commercialize the novel conducting polymer materials and processing techniques based on his recent inventions on conjugated heteroaromatic polymers and solid capacitors.
